The material from which this bag is made is something very special.

It was woven in the traditional way on a wooden frame and comes from Nghệ Ander Province, a border region between Vietnam and Laos.

The work is demanding and time-consuming, which is why these fabrics are special and are valued accordingly. They are often part of the trousseau, a special gift or serve as an ornament on traditional clothing.

Our bag LAO TAI BLUE is part of the HILL TRIBE SERIES (Bag 6/12)

This amazing fabric is a piece of art created by the wonderful Tai people a hill tribe in the north of Vietnam on the boarder to Laos.

This fabric is not from Germany like the other fabrics I use.
